Capitola Villa - Nostalgia ~ Places Collection

PINNNKKKK! This is only colorway in the collection that is a semisolid based off of someone’s Nostalgic Place! When I first tried to dye this colorway including all of the colors of these fun villas in Capitola, it ended up just looking like melted M&Ms🫠😂 Then I felt very inspired to just dye it as a semisolid BRIGHT pink! Because everyone needs a neon pink in their lives. This colorway is on the lighter and softer side of neon, but still glows bright as can be💖

This lovely Nostalgic Place was submitted by @see.meg.knit .. here’s what she says about her memories - “I grew up nearby and it’s just the coziest little sleepy seaside spot - and its stars are the colorful little houses that line the beach! I think the most potent nostalgia tends to be a mix of fond memories and a sense of loss; for me, Capitola Village exemplifies that perfectly because I’ve since moved across the country, and because as ocean levels rise, the town’s days are numbered. Capitola has more and more catastrophic floods every year.
